Look at the cutest 11 members ages 0-6 months of GWP cofC. What fun it was to take their picture for the nursery today. Ok, the moms thought it was funny, but maybe the kidos didn't. Anyway, we attempted to get a picture crying or not crying. More pictures to come. Check out the video:

Generations of Love

Lydia has been so blessed to have her grandparents and great-grandparents around to shower her with much love.....we plan to continue the wonderful Christian example that they have been to us as we bring up our little one now.

Yippee A Bow!

I am so excited to share the good news:
Lydia sported a bow for all of 30 min yesterday. I was so happy. She has not been able to wear a bow since she was a newborn. Her hair fell out during the first 2months, and has returned this 3rd month of her life. I have many bows that I am very excited to use, so hopefully this is a sign that you should be seeing them more often in her hair!

Lookalike

Here is Lydia with a picture of Josh when he was a baby. Lydia is 2months old in the pic. and her daddy was 1 month old. Can you see the resemblence? There are many times that Lydia looks identical to the picture of her dad, even more so than in the picture above. Today, however at church Mrs. Manship kept telling me that Lydia looked just like me! Hmmmm....maybe she does have some of me afterall! Anyway, nonetheless, she is precious and I am thrilled that she is so much like us. What a gift!

To Grandmommie's House We Go!

My parents just got back from a month long trip to Vermont. Lydia and her cousins were very excited to see them return today. My mom and dad couldn't believe how much Lydia had changed, Dad said that everything was so much different about her. Lydia seemed to remember them as she napped on Granddaddy's shoulder and smiled at Grandmommie as she played with her. It is so good to have them home. The picture has Lydia and her cousins, Grace (5), Jameson(3) and Ally (2) joining Grandmommie.

4th of July

Lydia spent her first 4th of July by starting the day with a yard sale, and may I add that I hate putting on a yard sale. Yes, getting rid of clutter is nice, but the tagging, putting it out, and bringing it in is not so nice. I was really hoping for a blow out sale with many people lined up to go through our collections of things, but it didn't really turn out like that after all. My sister always has had great luck with yard sales on the 4th, but she lives near Barren River Lake and many boaters stop off on their way to and from the lake. Well I have no lake near me, so therefore, the 4th was not so hot of an idea. Sara and Darren joined in with us. We both did pretty good considering our turn out, but decided to call it quits around 11am. Lydia enjoyed sitting in her bouncy and talking to us as we walked around. She is really making some fun sounds now, like ooh, ha, oh, eee, and hiee. I love listening to her talk back to me as I say the sounds for her to mimick. What an exciting time!

After church, we met up with friends (see the pic of fellow firecracker Zoe with Lydia) at WKU for their 4th concert and firecracker display. Lydia really enjoyed the noise. Papa walked around with her toward the end and he said she jumped a few times during the finale of the fireworks when there were several big booms together. I think she really enjoyed all the stimualtion of the sounds and sights.
