Keep Out!

Oh the joys of motherhood...Today, I have been chasing my new one year old around the house as she opens and shuts doors. I do wonder what she thinks she will do in her room all alone without her mommy! Maybe she has some secrets to tell her stuffed animals, maybe she wants to line up her shoes for the week, who knows! For real, I thought keeping Mom out wasn't supposed to start until teenage years!

If we were any sort of friend, all the girl-moms would have warned you of the DRA-MA when we heard you had a girl :) But it's fun to watch others find out slowly, on their own!

Seriously, that little independent spirit will make you love her even more than you thought possible, and at the same time make you hit your knees in prayer, realizing it's only the beginning!!!! Girls are fun! Maybe you can have a conference with the stuffed animals and find out what juicy secrets she's telling! Can't wait to hear :) She is SO cute!

Cute post! Zoe loves to open and shut doors too... maybe they've been talking too much lately and planning 'games' to play with their mommies? Oh what fun and excitement we're in for!!!!

Colt loves to do the same. ALL DAY LONG. We have french doors into one of the rooms and he has slammed them so much that the top of the door cracked!!!! Crazy! I am trying to put a stop to it, but he's only one! I think all the fun is just beginning, don't you... :)

I can't remember if Karson ever got into that or not but she certainly love to SLAM them to prove a point sometimes. Girls are definitely HIGH on the drama.

Oh the joys of motherhood...isn't it fun to watch them learn and explore??? Jenna loves to go into her room and shut her door. One day she was in there for a few minutes and I wondered what she could possibly be doing so I quietly opened her door...she was sitting in front of her bookshelf just "reading" a book. Maybe Lydia just needed a little alone time with a good novel! :-)
